Segundas-feiras são popularmente conhecidas por serem o dia mais chato da semana, mas essa segunda-feira, 04 de fevereiro de 2013, veio cheia de alegria para os fãs de Fall Out Boy. A banda que iniciou um hiato em 2009, anunciou hoje sua volta e veio com tudo.
Eles lançaram um single, "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)", que é a primeira música inédita que a banda lança desde "Alpha Dog", lançada na compilação Greatest Hits.
Além do single, eles também anunciaram que em maio vem CD novo por aí: Save Rock and Roll, e a "Save Rock and Roll Tour" que se inicia em março.
A banda publicou em seu site uma mensagem aos fãs:
"when we were kids the only thing that got us through most day was music. its why we started fall out boy in the first place. this isn't a reunion because we never broke up. we needed to plug back in and make some music that matters to us.
the future of fall out boy starts now.
save rock and roll...".
